Neuropsychological Assessments

This type of assessment is typically administered to individuals who have known or suspected acquired brain injury. In order to identify areas of cognitive deficit, various tests are administered by a qualified psychometrist, under the direct supervision of a registered clinical neuropsychologist. These tests generally assess functional academic abilities, fine motor skills, visual constructional ability, verbal fluency, verbal and nonverbal intelligence, attention, memory, and executive ability. Emotional functioning is also assessed.
