Psycho-Vocational Assessments

The assessment includes all tests administered in the Vocational Assessments, and adds psychodiagnostic and intelligence testing to identify psychological factors and learning potential relevant to the reason for referral. The qualified psychometrist/vocational evaluator works under the direct supervision of a registered clinical psychologist. In addition to the features outlined in the report provided for a Vocational Assessment, a Psycho-Vocational evaluation will also assesses an individual’s ability to succeed in academic upgrading or higher education. Typically, the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale-4 (WAIS-4) is used to measure intelligence, and various tools are used to evaluate psychological functioning (e.g., Pain Patient Profile, Beck Depression Inventory, Beck Anxiety Inventory).
