English as a Second Language (ESL) training combines in-class learning (theory) with practical experience (field trips and activities). The latter provides students with the opportunity to develop a fuller understanding and appreciation for the culture surrounding the English language. Our English for Academic Purposes (EAP) Program is for students who wish to improve their English language skills to advance their education. The program emphasizes reading, writing, speaking, and listening to prepare students for high school, college or university. Students are placed in groups according to their current English language proficiency and their academic objective. English language proficiency is measured using Canadian Language Benchmarks. In-class training is supplemented with practical experience (field trips and activities), in order to make programs fun, interactive, and comprehensive.
