The starting point of any journey is your current location. To understand what you need to reach any desired destination, you must first be clear about where you are, presently. This means taking inventory of your current skills and abilities. To do this, you will need to consider all of your education, work experience, interests and hobbies. This information will help form the basis from which to move forward.
Know where you are going
A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step…..but in which direction you step makes all the difference. Before you take that first step, know where you’re going. Choose a career destination. This phase of the program is comprised of assessing your personality type and interests, two key areas, which combined, will provide great insight towards identifying careers that have a high likelihood of providing you with success and fulfillment. In order to assess these two fundamental areas, we use the most widely regarded assessments; the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® to identify your personality type, and the Strong Interest Inventory® to identify your interests. Upon completion of these, and possibly other assessments, if necessary, a Career Advisor meets with you to explain your results and discuss
Know You'll Get There
The third phase follows your election of a career option to pursue, and it involves exploring educational paths that best suit your needs, personality and interests. An Education Consultant will research and recommend post-secondary certificate, diploma or degree programs, or trade schools and apprenticeship programs, and assist you to complete applications for admission.

After doing some research, we found CareerQuest, which offered precisely the assistance we required. The first step was an initial comprehensive introductory meeting in which the consultant took ample time to know our son.
